Worry serves no purpose.  In the saner moments, when the clouds clear, you realize all the worry did nothing to prevent the outcome.  And despite the outcome you must persevere.  After all, no matter what you are going through, if you are reading this, you have another chance to simply keep going.

Worry leaves you in knots.  It steals your breath and your sleep.  It clouds your judgement and strips you of your inner strength.

Worry taints your relationships and weakens your resolve.  It is an insidious cancer that creeps inside you like a shadow removing all light and sense of hope.

No one is promised tomorrow.  Worrying about it will not grant you a pass.

Worry is poison.

Worry is self-inflicted.

Worry is a choice.

Choose not to.

Worry does not change the outcome is going to be my new mantra for moments I catch myself worrying. Thank you.

  2. Don’t think for a minute I don’t say the very same thing in my mind . . . all the time. Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
